Château Bidou

VINEYARD

  • Region : Red Bordeaux AOC – Coasts of Bourg
  • Surface : Around 6 Ha on 45 Ha of « Vignobles Plaisance »
  • Sol : Clay mixed with fragmented limestone
  • Vines : 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon & 10% Malbec.
  • Cultural Method : Driven in “reasoned culture”, cut simple and double guyot,  with grass a row on two.

VINIFICATION

  • Maceration : Cold maceration before fermentation.
  • Fermentation : Fermentation in Thermo-regulated tanks, soft cuvaison during approximately 3 weeks.
  • Growing : In oak barrels.
  • Oenologist : Mr Michaël Bruneteau

TASTING NOTES

  • Deep purple color.
  • Attractive aromas of red berries, and toasted wooded notes.
  • Round and elegant, fruity, beautiful length in mouth.
